Wednes- day morning we drove out to Polihale State Park entrance to support the reopening of the park. Senator Gary Hoosier (that's him in the picture) was there to update us on the progress of the park, closed due to damage to the bridge and road from the December flooding. Community organiser Bruce Pleas said that State funds to repair the road and bridge could take a couple of years, so the community is getting involved and the park could reopen as soon as the end of the month.
